Amanda has yet to see an animal she doesn’t want to take home. Her home currently holds five dogs, nine cats, one Bearded Dragon, and a few fish. She would love to have a pet bird, but for obvious reasons that is just not possible at the moment.

Amanda is quickly becoming an expert on cats and cat care. One summer she and her mom took in about 30 kittens to foster. They found homes for most, but ended up keeping four. Three others found a home at her cousins’ house.

Her aunt and uncle, who live nearby, also have a bunch of cats and dogs. These cats and Amanda’s provide plenty of pictures for this site, and plenty of stories.

Amanda hopes you will enjoy her website and if you don’t already love cats, that you will quickly come to appreciate their playfulness, quiet dignified demeanor, and the devotion they show to those they accept.
